Should novalogic make a ww2 game, i've been thinking about it and i think they should...what do you think?

ya no kidding...but i believe that they could redeem themselves with a World War Two type game, i like the way they handel weapons, and what not in BHD, and i think a world war two remake with heavy advertising like JO, could be there redeemer.

they should make a modern day game that plays as well as recent ww2 games.

tbh i'm sick of ww2 games, i wanna use modern day weapons.

I think I agree with Steve on this one although there are some great world war 2 games out there we could do with Nova creating a more contemporary game based in one of the all to many trouble spots around the world.

Just my thoughts.

I get the impression that nova is stuck, they cant really do historical situations for the reasons illustrated in steves post, they cant do current batlles without getting quizzed about making profits of the soldiers who are fighting, risking their lives etc etc (remember TFD and BHD??). IMO thats why there redoing DF1 into Next Gen.

maybe a game crossed with BHD/COD/Counter Strike Features would be cool.... like World War 2, Close up action, Saving Hostages etc

i would like to see how they do going to the sci-fi way some, normal fighter earth Vs some alien guys bug/bloop/etc that is invading earth.

all the earth guys using only their weapons type of this age and the alien guys/things use what every they have sci-fi weapons

getting tire of the old war type games like to see them Branch out in a new way some what.

^^^ my thoughs exactly. Plus, nova can't make a game without releasing 6,000 patches, 4,200 upadtes, and have 3,600 cheats.

there was talk some years all go about US-Marin Core will be train to fight in outer space for NASA, but it never left ground

they talk about in the 90s but it die off. think the reason is there was going to be a war inspace around the planet they be ready for it. but it seem to have die off.

I'm tired of World War 2 as well. Soon they'll be having us fighting with spears and shields. Just give us technology we've got, and make the scenes of battle realistic. I don't think it's too far fetched to put in some major American and European cities as battle scenes. It's very possible that someday the Chinese will invade San Fran (o wait, they already have...) and we have to go repell them. Enter urban american warfare. You could play the commando elite or the guy that's just trying to protect his family. There's a future in this somewhere...

well i must agree that there are a lot of those world war two games out there. They messed up on jo, and it has about a patch a day , i could go for some maybe korean fighting, dF style, no JO i nvr went for those alien vs human ( or the human vs alien ) -- but i think nova could do it right.

dont care much for halo or ww2 (aka old) games, prefer upto date games, an iraqi game would go down a treat

you know i can't think of any software game MFG made a Japan's type combat game at all. it was crazy too.

all them die hardcore Japan's who only wish to kill as many as they can for their king/god

with all them inlands to take over think that be right up novalogic area, look back on DF:BHD-TS & JOTR you have the inlands already only no japans in it and the China troops to boot S-Korea & N-Korea conflict make the game like DF:BHD with Spec-mission in it. be sweeet

inland hopping and fighting in the skys over the seas be sides ships getting hit by zores toboot.

will maybe them coutrys don't wish to remember the war to me it history live it again in a bigger way, in the game the japanys and N-Korea win thats all in fun of it they be bad guy Vs good guys AUS, USA some other who help in the war.
