some strong views there troj. i appreciate your posts enormously. its the "comradery" as u called it, that i think's drawing me towards the army. i enjoy the thought of fighting along side other people like me who are fighting for the same course. i also wanna make something of myself, and be someone whos worth something, rather than be like anyone else round me area.

a lot of my mates are against the thought of me joining the army, and they, bein true friends are the only thing thats been stopping me joining as i would miss them, but now i feel ill always have them with me, and they will give me the strength to get through it.

seems a very high possibility i will join up now, but will give myself 6 - 12 months to better myself and make myself fitter, as the british army is getting fussier nowdays.
