Yeah really impressive, wonder how its performance is in a real situation though. That would be interesting to see.

yeah, wudnt like 2 b sitting at the windows they blow out lol or storm threw.. but my guess is that they rnt focusing on not harming civilians.. unlike most countries.. better idea to use as much force as possible even if it means stepping on some1.. lol

Yeah that might be a possibility, but I kind of doubt it at the same time, if they didnt care about the hostages I doubt they would go to that length to take them down. Would just be easyer to blow the bus to pices.

Remainds me that its Ultimate Force soon on the TV here in Sweden, great serie!

lol i didnt mean that they didnt care about them, i meant that they weren't just as concerned about it, like their main goal ofcourse is to save their lives, but if they have to they would put them in harms way

wow, yes they are fast.

but ya can use their speed aganst them, like if they hit a house and run in in their cqb raids , the baddies can just hit a button or put in a pressure switch, avalable at any hardware store, and bring the house down on them, speed can be usefull but can also be a drawback, but that is true with every tactic.

good vid thoe.

Very impressive, the rappeling reminded me of Rainbox six Vegas, which I've been playing lately, speed os deadly, but everything has it's drawbacks, love the teamwork too.

Sure but thats very unlikley to happen. It's not practicle. You can't go around 24/7 with a switch in your hand ready to hit that button 24/7, dosent work that way. And I doubt they use the exact same tactics on a house it wouldn't be practicle. And a terrorist would not waste explosive to detonate the house their in, they gain nothing by doing that.

Hehe found this. Swedish "Piketen" (Same as US SWAT and has been around almost as long) doing an entry into an apartment to arrest one that parted in an armed robbery and ware known to have shutgun and a hand gun in the appartment.

We have anti terrorist forces aswell, both the Police and Army do. But army one isn't allowed to operate on Swedish Territory

same problem here Silent... all we have the the PSNI (police) now.. since the new peace deal requires the army to scale down to a 5000 strong force that is only there to back-up (only if there is shooting) and deal with bomb disposal

we have no special forces units here, or armed response.. basically bcos every PSNI officer is trained at the same level

we seriously need to update our home security training

The reason why Military is banned from operating (helping police) is because of an incident in 1930 where conscritps opened fire on civi during a hostage situation. And I think they have proposed to change that law so that SSG can operate on Swedish Territory. But NI which is the Police Anti terrorist unit is actually training with Militray special forces and use Military classes weapons such as G36, Steyr AUG, AK5 and L96A1 AW. Even though the L96A1 AW is said to have been removed from their arshenal.

Here's one picture of a member of the NI team (one to the right) http://www.livgardet.mil.se/index.ph...=news&id=32402

Here's NI with their sommer cloths (refering to the hat ) looking for three Cop killers.

http://www.dn.se/content/1/c6/29/21/76/insats425.jpg

somewhat bad quality but cant do much about it
