I'm stuck with a header. For some reason I can't come up with anything good enough for a content area. : /



any suggestions?

first thought is that it seems very large, i.e. a lot of space to fill.

i can think of a few things but i'd have to draw em in photoshop, but it depends what the site is for hence the first question

Well, the header is going to stretch horizontally. It's not actually going to be as big as that, but I made the design that big so I can give myself enough space to work with.

I want something to stick all the content in that will match the header and so far, nothing. I don't know why I can't fix anything up to stick to the feel of the header.

Also, I guess I should post it without the 'noise' filter added in. I posted it somewhere else to ask for opinions and forgot it was still there when posting it here. The noise makes it look really bad.

I think it looks good as it is, with a blank area. Just use some good CSS style on the text to make it look a bit fancy. Simplicity


It would be easier to work with then if in the future you decide to add 'work' that doesnt quite fit the frame you made.

I decided to go with more of what simon was saying. Something simple and easy to update further down the road. Here's a small update of what I've done.



I've still got to darken the Press Releases bar to match the rest of the colors a bit better, but I'm actually pretty happy with the result so far.
