That's actually about a foot (12 inches) of concrete padding. The steel jack posts support the concrete pad, then above the pad were another set of steel jack posts (with 12 foot 12x12s') supported the second floor. Then the fallen footer was removed and the new 10 foot deep footer was dug. Check out the pic to see what was found underneath.

Once the new footer was dug, the new footer was set (with steel jack posts permantly set into the lower concrete footing) and framed and the new upper footer wall pored into frame. Once it was hardened and set we drilled holes into the concrete pad and pumped flowable fill concrete into the holes to fill the vacant area underneath the pad.

So the new footer supports the house, while the concrete pad supports only the lower section of the house.

Since our house was built in 1976 we cannot legally go back against the builder or seller for compensation. So we've had the to bear the cost ourselves.

Man that's as bad as it comes.
The determination and persistence shown by these pics indicate the work of a strong and stable personality.

Subaru needs to put some muscle into that BRZ. That thing would be amazing with 250-300whp. It only makes around 150 to the wheel right now. Still would be a fun car to drive.

I agree. You have any plans for what you are going to do when you replace your SRT?
