Lan settings

I'm trying to set up my router so I can transfer files between my computers, but I have no idea how to do it. I can't find what I need on google The computers are all connected to a dlink router, which is then connected to the cable modem.

Thanks

Well all I can think of is if you have a firewall make sure you allow LAN.

Also is it XP to XP? Have you run the home networking wizard?

Ohhh...that should be a bit easier.

It is harder to do so because on Windows ME and 98 it doesn't have a "User" built in. So it causes problems when you are trying to network with one that does.

W2k Has a built in User which is where windows XP gets the user from.

Anywho it should be pretty easy...not as easy as Xp to Xp but...
