I'm searchin for a good keyboerd setting to minimize my reactions. Treid several settings. Wich do you use?

put them all kind of in the general area like i have Ctrl as jump and things like that i dont know i jump a lot keeps me from getting killed (hopefully) so thats all i really use beside i dont get why they make q,r,s,a and **** like that for your forward, reverse etc... keys? i just remap and you should remap to what you like if thats easy for you then use that
i mean i could never use **** keys like that to damn confusing
just id make your arrow (forward,right.left.and reverse) keys the center and kinda spread out along that

Shift = Reload
Ctrl = Jump (I'm a bunny to )
Mouse 3 = Prone
That's it
I don't know why I jump so much, but it does save you alot of kills!

Till now i didn't bother jumpin around. But when it saves bullits in your head......
hmmm will take me another two weeks to adjust my tactics.

i use the arrow keys to move and have 0 on the num pad for jump, which unfortunately makes going forward-right-jump very tricky cause i need to use my thumb on the 0. this could be good with 1 2 and 4 being used as knife, explosive and grenade.

i wish id started off using w a s and d because there is more keys over that side and jumping would be easier. but i first started playing on my m8s comp who is left handed and i could be botherd keep switching his settings, and sometimes his mouse position, so i used to play with my hands crossed sometimes!!! which isnt as bad as u may think.

also i have a 5 button mouse, same as normal with 2 more buttons where my thumb is, i should really configure these so they are useful ingame ie explosive / knife, but this makes those buttons impractical for every day use.

if using wasd id suggest having tab / caps lock as shoot also, especially if ur a sniper and clicking the mouse can make it move ( esp an opti mouse or boomslang mouse ).

The reason Mr Friday that they do that is because as SB says, there are more keys there and its close to the number strip for switching weapons quick.

Anyhow, I also set cursor keys for movement.
Ctrl = Jump
Shift = Crouch
Switch Weapons on the mouse scroll which when pressed drops me prone.

I have a mouse with two extra buttons either side.
The left one which I control with my thumb, selects the primary weapon. As I generally gun it means I can switch to the big boy without the chance of skipping past it by mistake.

The extra button on the right which I control with the inner aspect of my third finger, switches Wilco transmit on and off.

If I have to reload then its Enter.
I also switch the scope zoom to P. Dunno why, I just like it.

8 for forward; 5 for backward; 4 for strafe left; 6 for strafe right;
+ for binocs; . for jump; 0 for NVGs; 7 for knife; 9 for grenades;
3 for radio detonator; 2 for sidearm; 1 for medic pack.

i keep scope zero stuff and magnifcation the same.
FYI...DO NOT ASSIGN ANYTHING TO "ENTER" KEY, it might mess up ur controls. i put jump there once and everytime i would type a message my dude would jump when i would press "enter" to send the message. d'oh!
