Editor nightmare

Every time I try to attach an AI to a weapon, no matter how i trigger it, as soon as it triggers durn the game I get a systems dump. I'm also having problems to get the AI to drive everything except a bike.If I set up a trigger the AI will do what they are supposed to do. If it's a bike, but if all I do is change the bike to anything else giving it the same group numberand only changing the SSN# in the trigger the AI just stand there like a Nova programmer. To me this editor makes the one for Task Force Dagger look good. Nova did a great job on the graphs but what the hell is it good for when all the weapons have the range of a bb gun. Yea I know, it only cost $20.oo. I would have rather paid $60.oo and had a decent game. You get what you pay for. I just wonder, with all the hype put out by Nova about DFX, how many kids have been saving every dime they gEt to buy TFD 2?

did you go to www.novaworld.com let the tech know of this they are still working on the map editor at this time, could be a bug they need to work out.

Since DF2 they hav'nt worked out a bug for me yet. Has something changed I dont know about?

I get a lock-up or sysdump when I try to attach AIs to emplaced weapons. Also- when I tried to attach a vehicle 50-cal to the top of the sandbag bunker, the game cut out when I tried to use it.

However, I've not had any problem attaching AIs to vehicles or their guns. I DO NOT attach them and I DO NOT use the GROUP command in the MED- I REDIRECT SSN to waypoint 125, 124, 123 (vehicle SSN). That has worked just fine! Choppers, trucks, boats... they all work.

REDIRECT
SSN (bad guy)
TO WAYPOINT 125, (vehicle ssn)

125= any function- will attempt to be a driver first.
124= not driver- will attempt to use a weapon first
123= not driver,not weapon- will only sit in a seat

They walk in and attach and do their thing.
And then they kill me...lol.

Delta Force: Xtreme
this is the game you have right and not DF2 we are talking about Delta Force: Xtreme and not DF2? if you have DF2 and having trouble with the map editor then you need to post it in DF2 area and not Delta Force: Xtreme area!

they are still working on Delta Force: Xtreme and there going to be another update release for the map editor they all ready stated so.

DF2 is Totally dead, if you running Windows 2000/Xp then go to the download area download the Map editer that was made for it.

Delta Force: Xtreme don't you love it only 40days or so days old and you trashing it like it was five years old. if you don't like the game? if not return it to the store tell them it not working and get another game that works 100% for you. ;/

I've downloaded every runtime file I could get my hands on and it's working a little better. I can set a tile without the thing frezzen up on me. Thanks for the info Rat Sass. And Chief simmer down, you'll have a heart attic.
