Me in 14 ton wheelloader (vid)

Me operating a volvo L70E in training, loading a dumptruck, which I also drove, very weird dumptruck, old and leaking in diesel fumes into the cab might of been the open windows though, the fan was so loud we couldn't have it on any higher then on setting 1 which was pretty much no flow.

*be careful take it nice and slow! max 25mph making a right or left turn off a highway were the road keep on turning 270 or 360, were turn keep on turning i mean.

What is cool is when you get in the habit of operating it you'll be able to do all that without even thinking. Love muscle memory.

Yeah defenetly lightyears away from that. Wheelloader isn't quite my thing more towards excavators and huddigs.

Drove the huddig today and just tutch the throttle and it will just climb anything like i did today, climed a steep incline up on a pile of clay with the rear left wheel (makes you think as you drive backwards) and just tuches the throttle and it starts to climb

I'd say after a couple of months doing it all day you'd be pretty used to it. Looks like it would be pretty hard to get all the coordination down.

I'm better at the coordination then the video showed, I got stressed when I knew I was being filmed

The hardest thing is actually to get the bucket into the pile

It must be hard getting used to steering it while using the bucket.. I remember the first time I drove a reach forklift.. Took a little bit of time before I could pick and move at the same time

Yeah it does take time, and you need to be able to or you won't get anything in to the bucket, all you will do is spin the tires

It's pretty amazing once you get used to it though. I was able to spin and raise the forks and drive right into the pallet without ever stopping once I did it for awhile. Congrats on driving one of those though. It looks sweet!

Someting along this line? http://www.atlet.se/truckar/smalgangstruckar/omni-dcr

It really is great, really comfy cab and controls No AC in this one but works really well so far, will be worse in summer, but the other machines have AC besides the mini excavator and the articulated dumper

Bought a new "tripod" for the camera, which I can attach on a window on the inside of the machine

It's a Fat Gecko Mini, which has a suction cup. Think it's one of those that's used in this video, and hopefully will work that good for me aswell, that way I will be getting videos from the cab of all the equipment

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIgqajTd6u8 video with what I think is a Fat Gecko Mini mount

Looks like this:

When young I taken under the wing of a heavy equipment operator. I still remember my first scoop with a D-9. It was a good 2 shovels worth.

Amazing, 14 tons must be really heavy, and handle one of those things must be complicated, but if you have experience this should be easy, doesn't it?

Yeah can't do that here, need a license first unless it's a small machine like up to 8 tons I think, or else that would of been really good but in a way we do that as our teacher has been operating large excavators for the last 40 years along being the boss of many large construction sites

It defenetly doesn't feel like 14 tons, feels like a car with a bucket but slightly longer and higher There's no power shortage, thats for sure
