yes it is, i saw it on tv last night on msnbc...and i am still thinking, y would they try to make a plane take off in a blizzard???

it wasnt taking off, it was landing.

planes fly all the time in severe weather, over here planes were still flying when visability was down to 50m 2 weeks ago, but no doubt over the next week we will hear the cause, weither it was down to ice on the runway, pilot error, or weather.
