Baby you need ram, get as much as your office machine will allow.....
...gamers never never get enough ram(circa1998)
But if you got the cash get a SERIOUS UPGRADE, see the tech section

Important Kill64 pc problems

Make a DFX2.exe shortcut to desktop, right click and go to properties then compatibility and tick, Disable visual themes. Even try setting compatibility to Win98 after the following.

Disable icon shadows and transparency, desktop background, use win98 themes and any another GUI tweak to reserve all graphics for your game. Go to bios and overclock CPU and RAM...in the past I would do all these to get high end games to work.

Note: In the game don't use anti alias etc and set resolution to 1024x768 any lower is CPU intensive any higher is GPU intensive

Windows XP isn't the problem ... 512 meg ram isn't the problem either (your ram maybe at the lowest limit but it should still work)...

Your video card looks alright too ... but I do wonder about the 128 ram on your card.

Your cpu speed looks ok ...

But, do try running DFX2 at the minimum graphic setting.

Bottom line though ... could it be your installation has an error ?

Try uninstalling/reinstalling your DFX2 game .

Stomp,
I've played DFX on a computer that didn't meet the minumum requirements and it worked for me.

Granted, it did run slower but I could still play.

BTW, using a much faster PC now.
