I don't see what the problem is.

The aol guy was told that the account had not been used for a while but there was a record of it being heavily used recently.
During the conversation the fact that 2 people were using this account became clear, the aol guy obviously wanted to be sure that the person cancelling was aware that the account was being used.

No doubt the conversation was being recorded, so he was making sure that he provided all the information he had been instructed to provide.

The last time I used aol was with a free 1 month trial.
Before the trial was up I rang to cancel it but was offered another free month.
Before the second month was up I rang again to cancel and was given a free month again.
After the 3rd month they cancelled.

3 months free, can't complain.


The person who called sure sounds like the guy who recorded his paypal conversation.

i hated AOL for a long time>

AOL is so dead, i use them for a whole year back in 2000 what a joke i drop them long time ago now i use yellowstone.net service 10.000% better without all the extra crap AOL has in their service plans

AOL is THE worst ISP ever... and when you call up to cancel something, it should be no questions asked.. just do it. they can't just keep charging you because he thinks he uses it actively ..
