New Rules?

New Rules?

I thought that if we wanted to be more strict on rules and making this site and wonderful experience increasing the no mercy is well okay for me by the way, if you admins need to then you should change the rules and make them up to date.

Uhh. okay enough threads (everybody) about the admins becoming stricter. Simply put I think the admins do a fine job now, and they are handling it the way they want too. If they were doing a bad job (in their own view) they would change what they were doing. Again I come back to the statement, there is very little spam, and the spam get's taken care of. And could you please explain too me where the rules need work? lol.

Anyways, just not agreeing unless the admins think they need too...

the rules are good and pretty straight forward. the only problem for you guys is that we decide to enforce them every now and again.

we do not have to publicly justify why we ban ppl etc, but i'm so tempted to start making a list for all to see, because other than the admin's, maybe 1 or 2 ppl really know why a certain person was banned, ppl think the admin are being harsh sometimes but they have no idea at all what happened, and the person banned will just make something up to sound like they were innocent.

sry back on topic:

if you really want us to be strict, then we would ban your account chris, the simple reason being you have to be 13 to register on the forum. so effectively you broke the very first rule.

if you thnk new rules are required chris, then at least give us some ideas.

reminds me of another forum where the rules were enforced strongly. the members started calling the mods/admin Nazi's

so one of the mods put the swastika as his avatar, then all the members was saying he was racist etc etc and made threats to him.

funny old world

admin never wins

Its always the same old song, whenever a admin decides to enforce the rules he will be flamed and beaten by them members, but when he does not enforce the rules the members will to the same..
Liek Steve said admins can never do the right thing in the eyes of the members.

You can discuss this till eternity but its just a fact.

true, theres no way to keep "both sides happy" nevermind one of them

i feel the rules here are fair enough, although sometimes theres replies to threads that arn't needed, or silly arguements start, which really does get annoying

but so far the rules have kept this forum perfect

And it seems like noone knows taht they are able to rate a thread... If you would use that, admins know what the members think of a thread.

And Steve when im the UK and around i will hold you to the hug

Yeah, yeah I did break the first rule, only cause I was a fan of DF. But as I was saying I mean if you wanted to. One more question though, I could not understand it, what does advertising for profit in a sig mean? Do you guys know?

you are joking right whats the matter you don't think the admin have been doing s super job at all? come on Chris you are putting your foot into your own mouth guy.

by the way Chris the admin can bend the rules some time and enforce other that maybe not listed at all in the rules of this site. they have the god given right to do as they please, like in a game server the host and let others in if they think they be OK, or ban them totally if they don't like what that person is doing in their server (URL Site)

I am not saying that Chief, the admins do a wonderful job, just saying at the start if they want to change the rules then that is okay by me, the right message is what I just said, Steve is an excellent influence on a good admin and that is one of the five success points you could find.

No Muffin Man, registering a new name is not an option, if I did I will die with a guilty conscience.
