Squad site script

Hey there, don't know how many people would be interested. But who would be interested in a squad script. This script will run your whole squad site without you knowing any html. From rosters to news, everything is automated. This script is written in php and uses mysql. I am currently writing this, trying to learn php. So far the script is great and everything works. There will be selectable styles or you can make your own. I am not the best at php, but this is a great way for me to learn. I have learned so much so far, and releasing a script will almost force me to learn more. What kinda features would you like in a squad site that you run? So far, the squad site script im developing has, News, Roster (With profiles), Record (With match info?), Join form, Challenge form, Files, About & links. All Updated without knowing any html. And very easy to understand. It's got it's own little admin panel where you can edit all that info from. Please let me know if this is somthing you would be interested in EVEN if you don't have a squad or run the website for the squad your in.

Sounds very interesting , I've helped my buddy with our site with very little knowledge of what I'm doing, haha.....
But this sounds like it simplifies the task of updating and editing pages , if I'm understanding you correctly

Yes, It makes it very easy to update pages. If you want to add a player to the roster, you just add the information into a form and hit submit, boom the player and all the info is on the roster, without uploading, or editing any files.

The script is almost finished and I will post it when it's done. It all works now, just creating some styles and cleaning it up, making sure there are no errors, trying to improve some things. Probably within a week or 2.

uhhh durrr. What's your next squad going to be called?

The good thing about scripts like this is once you have made the script for say news its just a bit of editing needed to change it to roster.
Basically just several news scripts and an admin panel your looking at.

Are you going to have a login form with MD5 encrypted passwords or just hope the host allows .htaccess and that they can password protect directorys themselves?
