coop multiplayer

Hi, I have a quick question that I hope someone can help me out with. Whenever I host a multiplayer coop game, people try to join and get punted. This only happens once (ie: if they join again, they don't get punted). I don't even know how to punt someone (maybe you can tell me how to do this as well). Does anyone know why this happens? I have a cable internet connection (which is very stable and fast), AMD XP 1700, 1/2 gig DDR RAM and a G3 video card.

Forgot to mention that I have read the posts re: punting and i do have all my multiplayer to default.

have you set to /noskins ?

if so, maybe your visitors had skins on.


Otherwise I'm clueless.

and to punt you just hit ~ and type Punt a space and the number of the person you want to punt.

example: Punt 05

after hitting ~

This also works for Ban.

Also, make sure you have all weapons and settings on default

thanks for the help guys. i do have my settings on default (i forgot to say that in my original message). i also think that it happens too frequently for it to be a skins problem. the weirdest thing is that it only happens once per user. if they reconnect, they don't get punted (usaully never again either). i play regularly with a bunch of buddies and it doesn't happen to them anymore.

r u running EXP. If so, everyone needs EXP to join.
