DFBarracks releases BHD Map Manager!

Sting writes:

In our continuing efforts to help our fellow Delta Force enthusiasts, DFBarracks is proud to announce our new Map Manager for the Black Hawk Down MP Demo.

This new tool allows you to store all your custom maps in one folder, then when you wish to swap out your current maps, you can use the Map Manager to choose any three maps - and simply hit Install Maps to pack all three into the game's .pff file. Hopefully this will remove a lot of the confusion and difficulty that has plagued people who wish to host BHD Demo map servers.

The Map Manager comes with the three stock maps installed by default, so there should be no need to worry about 'losing' your stock maps because they will always be available to re-install. We have also included 6 custom maps taken from our map database. Because the program packs all the maps into the .pff file users will now be able to name maps with the maps actual name rather than having ten different maps that all have basically the same name (TDMM_01?.bms) this should allow people to keep track of what maps are what far easier than before.

The BHD Map Manager has been tested on Win98 and XP and should work on any OS that supports BHD.

Download the BHD Map Manager here.

OK found another minor bug. the file has been updated again - this update affects ALL users who downloaded the file.. if you downloaded the file before 9:45 EST this morning please DL the newest version using the link below..

http://www.dfbarracks.com/downloads/...ion=df&fid=130

The Following Bugs have been addressed -

1 - Map Manager now determines BHD Demo install directory by default so people with BHD installed in non standard locations shouldnt have problems anymore.

2- Map Manager had slight bug which meant if you re-installed the default maps - it would write them into the game directory as read only - this would then keep the Map Manager from installing future maps..
