haha

missed this thread first time around but it's pretty interesting

last july i completely changed my diet and started some dumbell exercises to burn a few calories. lost 20 lbs and about 3 inches off my waist.

i seem to eat at least twice as much now but good whole food and 99% cut out junk food / sugar crap and a lot of alcohol (arg that's the hard done), actually struggling to put weight (lean) back on. currently supplementing with http://www.myprotein.co.uk/mp-max/we...weight-gainer-(6lb)/ to help add extra calories, it's reasonably difficult to eat well when i spend a lot of time on the road so it helps out.

gonna give the 5x5's on here: http://stronglifts.com/stronglifts-5...ining-program/ a try to see if i get on with it

It is hard for me to eat good food because I am always stuck at school and then work... not much time to cook good stuff.

meh, the gym is useless i went to it regulary (must have been 3 times weekly) for a good 2 years, but most of it was useless for the job i took up so...havn't went to a gym since i started working at the airport in July last year..

try turning an easyjet plane around in 20minutes at the height of summer / christmas ... pull 2-ton steps in (sure they are on wheels, but if the ground is sloped in the wrong way it becomes a problem lol...), offload up to 150 bags ranging from 0kg-32kg and then loading up to the same amount, then pulling the belt out and finally pushing the steps away from the aircraft in a 9 hour shift u prob do around 2 flights every hour or more if it goes tits up

oh and b4 any1 says about driveable steps and belts... we dont have them

Makes sense BB I doubt I would do it if I was working like that all day.

Today I just did:
3 X 5 Bench 145lbs
3 X 5 Squats 180lbs
1 X 8 Deadlift 160lbs

I know I am weak lol.

I was staying at 140lbs on the deadlift because I was afraid of hurting my back.

I am doing riptoe's stuff

TBH I think it is a little low on the sets but I am no PT.

I do accessory excercises in different parts of the body on most days.
Today it was more on the chest. I did something else but I am not sure the name of it. Should have done more with barbells.

I usually do a few sets of regular curls and tricep curls one day as well.
