what is the command for shutting down a Sco Unix Server?

i presume a 'sco' unix server is not much differnt that any other unix server. (but plz correct me if i'm wrong about that.)

i'm guessing just 'shutdown' will work?

this is just confusing:

shutdown -y -g0 -i6 will shutdown and reboot the system

6 - INIT Run Level code for reboot

I would suggest you trying this

shutdown -y -g0 - shutdown command with level 0 (INIT Run Level code for Shutdown). Or shutdown -y -g0 -i0 will do.

*Note: who -r - Displays what the current run level is.
