hex name editor

Can u use the hex name editor that's been out for the NEW demo? ( as well as other things like map making/editing items? ) Or do we have to wait on someone to adjust the coding in those things?

Seems not many people are putting up "all weapons" servers, yet. Is there not ANY way to play in other servers with some kind of a main weapon. Maybe even to cycle off the "all weapons" temporarily?

Thought I had a GREAT cable connect for server purposes. My connect speed per test sites is usually close to or above 2.000 mbps. But when I tried putting up a server, as soon as we got into it, someone called "CI" and everyone was gone! wtf makes for a solid connect? No firewalls on here, everything set as low/open as I can get it on system. Help?

it could be they are running programs in the back ground
sample if there any virus may be updating or they are getting lag by poor connection on thier end its not you ok

thnx again chief! that's what I needed to hear, only on their end, not mine. So when one person gets ci not necessarily everyone gets ci right?

p.s. the new hex name editor doesn't work well! I tried using a couple of fonts, and they didn't take. (old English for one)

the hex editor works perfectly fine for me, try the Tahoma font, it has worked for me in all DF games + the new demo
