CALABASAS, CA – Players attending the forthcoming Cyberathlete® Extreme World Championships in Grapevine, Texas will not only be taking on the best gamers in the world, they will have the chance to make history! The event runs from July 28th to August 1st 2004.
NovaLogic, Shuttle Computers and the CPL have teamed up to attempt to set the record for the world’s largest LAN game. To get players prepared for the attempt, NovaLogic and Shuttle will be running sweepstakes to win copies of the game and other cool prizes as well as generally causing as much chaos as possible! NovaLogic will be running large scale ‘boot camp’ games during the week. The full World record attempt will begin at 7pm (CST) on July 30th.
