Glass Effect

Anyone know a good tutorial to make a glass like glare on text?

If you're talking about PS (or more specifically CS2 or so), make some text and right-click your layer, and go to "Blending Options". Play with the outer glow, etc.

I do know how to make a glossy effect sorta thing though. What you could do is use the circular/rectangular selection tool, select an area, fill the selection with white, make a new layer under that selection, and then lower the opacity to like 20% or so.
