yea war is hell and when forget your human rights issues established by the geneva convention many years ago
look what happens too you. he probably never even
thought about going to prison when he went over there.
now his life is ruined and its sad. they should drill these thing into them before they get there because if you allways do the right thing no matter what there would be less hate against our country.good allways begats good and likewise for evil.

Well it isn't really fair to our troops over there either. Those pansey peice of crap terrorists don't abide by the geneva convention. I don't think our troops should be bound by it 100% of the time either.

I'm no tree hugger myself, but I think this guy deserved that. Who gave him the authority to do "mercy killing"?

This war was about getting rid of opressive regime and freedom of people of Iraq, even though the imaginary WMD was real reason given at the time. I know war is hell but when one goes to war on a "moral high ground" he must also abide by rules and responsibilities that accompany it. What he did gave bad name to our military and set wrong precedence for other allied soldiers. He was made an example so no one else would go through this kind of practise.

You live with the decision you make. This is no DF game, people's life is at stake here.

Yeah, I understand you can't go around killing people for fun. But I still think it is unfair that our troops get so much guff from people over here that have no idea what they are talking about.

Like is unfair, deal with it!

I'm totally in for the use of brutal force when engaged but once the enemy is deemed as "neutralized" it becomes the responsibility of the same person to provide minimal medical assistance to that person if he's alive. This is the international law! If the enemy is injured too badly to be given any medical assistance you don't go about shooting them! That's called "vigilantism" for crying out loud!

Political correctedness and self censorship is going to do in this country!

Halls of justice painted green

Money talking

Power wolves beset your door

Hear them stalking

Soon you'll please their appetite

They devour

Hammer is justice crushes you

Overpower

The ultimate in vanity

Exploiting their supremacy

I can't believe the things you say

I can't believe

I can't believe the price you pay

Nothing can save you

Justice is lost

Justice is raped

Justice is gone

Pulling your strings

Justice is done

Seeking no truth

Winning is all

Find it so grim

so true

so real

Apathy their stepping stone

So unfeeling

Hidden deep animosity

So deceiving

Through your eyes their light burns

Hoping to find

Inquisition sinking you

With prying minds

The ultimate in vanity

Exploiting their supremacy

I can't believe the things you say

I can't believe

I can't believe the price you pay

Nothing can save you

Justice is lost

Justice is raped

Justice is gone

Pulling your strings

Justice is done

Seeking no truth

Winning is all

Find it so grim

so true

so real

Lady justice has been raped

Truth assassin

Rolls of red tape seal your lips

Now you're done in

Their money tips her scales again

Make your deal

Just what is truth? I cannot tell

Cannot feel

The ultimate in vanity

Exploiting their supremacy

I can't believe the things you say

I can't believe

I can't believe the price you pay

Nothing can save you

Justice is lost

Justice is raped

Justice is gone

Pulling your strings

Justice is done

Seeking no truth

Winning is all

Find it so grim

so true

so real

RollEyes

I just wonder what we would do under duress, war is hell and war makes men do bad things so things like this will happen, sadly they always have and always will.

Until we learn to live together, a remote possiblity at best, then war will be waged and many wicked things will be done by all sides, we elect the politicians who send these young men abroad to fight so we are all cupable.

Regards

That is true DD.

Some we choose but we don't elect the POS terrorists that decide to attack anyone on a whim.

in the army the one thing that gets drilled into head more than anything is kill the enemy. the way i look at it he was just doing his job. to my knowledge this is a first. no wonder they are having a hard time signing up troops

They are having issues hiring people is because they are forcing people to stay on their tours longer than they signed up for.
