the original DFB was the best df site ever made, it got more unique hits per day than all currents sites get put together

Yea I too prefered the original. Didnt like the change. Still a good site just liked the original personally.

There's no way the original DF Barracks can be outdone by anyone. Don't get me wrong, I'm not knockin' on the current version, but there's nothing like the original.

hey bud, thanks for the kind words! which version of the site did you see, the current one (black and blues) that i just brought on-line tonight, or the one prior to that with the gray and white (similar to what my forum still is)?

Considering it was basically my first template design, I'm flattered to know that you still like it. I think it looks quite square these days, but yeah, back then it was a quality design.

Yeah it did get a hell of a lot of visitors. The only reason behind this was that it was the first complete DF resource site focusing on all the titles.

There's a lot more competition out there today though. And some of those sites certainly don't deserve the traffic their getting. Without a doubt DFHQ is the best DF site around today and was, ever since I left DFB.

DFHQ is now at least 4 times as big as DFB was (in terms of content), but still probably only gets what I was getting (traffic wise) and it simply comes down to the number of DF Resource sites that exist. It's not a fair life, is it?
