i need to remove that from my sig ..
that site is just in my language and almost all BHD players are english ..
and i'm still editing it.

OK this is old but i got my bin file working fine now
the problem was that my med was on another BHD folder (backup - clean install) and i just moved it where the map / bin file was and now it works fine

You guys are making me want to make maps again.

I've always been a single player guy... I guess I enjoy the scripting part of it and creating a story. Unfortunately, BHD's AI and item set sort of limit the realistic environments you can make. DF2 is still my favorite game to map for, but no one plays it anymore, thus mapping feels a bit lonely these days.

I suppose I could start making some SP missions for DFX. The SP world for that game still seems to be alive and kicking.

People please don't forget the /d command in the game shortcut.

There is no problem for me I will change translators, it's easy.
I will use English here because it is an English US Forum and I cannot use special characters but you should be able to understand, I can parlay in Portugese in other places for your convenience

Hey ppl,
i was just checking the WAC TS singleplayer stock maps and i've found this line at the end:



WTF??
If you dont belive me (lol) just open the EXP1.pff with any pff editor and check the TSBHD_04.wac file :P
Also in all TS maps they use the dialogs via WAC files, not using LWF or DBF files and using the med event Play dialog file x and dlg00 - dlg001
and there's no .cin or .end files

Pretty much all the TS campaign missions are a little buggy. Maybe one round of tweaks short of good, actually.

Like the mission "Jungle Raid." Some technicals' waypoints are misnumbered, so instead of coming from around the mountain, they drive straight over it. And the hostages in the bunker will not stay in the goddam bunker - which is not bulletproof anyway - they sometimes follow you or dally off to where they often get killed and lose the mission for you.

It also wouldn't have been only one time that Catfish got killed in the mission "Attempted Arrest" (aka: TSBHD_04) before I had even left the village to rescue him.

Still, Kiltron's right. We're all nosey bastards.



P.S.: Your .wacs would be more reliable if you would deactivate the line breaks in notepad, Luis.

I see, almost everyone says that the TS missions are buggy.
It likes they made the maps quickly, needing to finish and sell the TS as soon as possible (i think).
They have not used any END, CIN, LWF, DBF in all sp maps.

And about the line break, i'll do that, thank yu;

DFX2 is the same, if you ask me and in my own opinion only, building in all the extras isn't really worth the time and effort anyway unless you're making a Campaign, or a new release such as a Mod etc... people just want to get into playing straight away.

I just hope they finally finish Angel Falls.

The reputation of NOVALOGIC rests on the Angel Falls game. And I hope they (NOVALOGIC) realize this.
