Hey there Se7en, what ver. of flash do you have? I cant open the file. I have Flash MX ver 6.

Maybe you should zip it, it could be getting screwed in the download.

And also, can you elaborate on the problem you are having?

When you say that the buttons and track number get distorted, what do you mean? Can you take a screenshot so I can see what you are talking about?

You can see the exact version of most programs by Help>about (program name)

Also, the screeny doesnt help me unfortunately. I'll need to see the fla.

I get an unexpected file format error when I open the fla you have attached. I suggest zipping it up, and attaching it.

Oh well,

I cant open it. I think cause my ver. is 6.0 and yours is 7.

There is one more thing to try. Save it as a flash 6 file

in the properties window change it to flash 6.

Heres a couple screenys to help yah.

http://www.momspicks.com/images/flash1.gif

Just click the button.

http://www.momspicks.com/images/flash2.gif

Change it to flash 6 instead of 7.

then save it under a different name so you can keep your original version.

Still getting the same error.

The object you want to be a button that when you click it, it goes to frame 16 of the same movie?

You action script for that object (which should be converted to a symbol (button) should be:

on (release) {
gotoAndPlay(16);
}

What action script do you have on that frame?
