How to dismount npc from vehicle

I need to know how to get non player characters off of vehicles. Ive tried everything I could think of but they wont carry out the commands once on the vehicle. If anyone knows please help me out (literaly).

Once the vehicle comes to a stop (last waypoint or Area trigger), just redirect the SSN (like the driver, gunner, or passenger) to a new set of waypoints. Even if it's just one waypoint... just to get them away from the vehicle.

It helps to put the new waypoint on the side of the vehicle where the AI is. So- if the driver (SSN1) is to exit the vehicle at a stop, place the waypoint on the left side of where the vehicle will stop.

The commands might look something like this:

if ssn2 reached waypoint 1,7
then redirect ssn1 to waypoint 2,0

in the example, ssn1= the driver, ssn2= the vehicle, waypoint 1,7 is the end of the vehicle's run, and waypoint 2,0 is the place where you want the driver to exit to.

OR- you can teleport the AIs out of a vehicle also. But- the vehicle must be stopped.
