Just fix the games

Really in the future Novalogic should fix games before they dump them and move to a new title...Example they could have done so many things with BHD but instead they just came out with JO. Don't play JO but I am sure there are a few things that could use some Nova sprucing up

hey i know one of the bad things they have on the box is, they support 56k in real world they don't they have a anti-lag cheat enforce it makes it really bad for the 56k user (you be skipping back and forth), better not buy it if you have a 56k you really need a higher speed connection to play the game.
ref; JOTR or JOTR:E and DF:BHD is the same up close fighting face to face is really bad too, not to say to terrain needs a lot of work they goof-up on cheap workmenship. a mile wide glitch in the terrain is no fun to see.

56K is unfortunate DSL needs to step up its service area....Also they could have easily done cable only servers etc... To enhance game play the little Red, Grey, And Green circles aren't to efficient

ok.... i never got it when everyone says this... what is wrong with df1? df2? dflw? dfbhd? dftfd? Is there a real 'problem' with the game? Please explain what is actaully WRONG with the game. Or is it just cheaters in the game?

Well there in every game, from monopoly to quake, there's no getting around it, and no ammount of bitching and complaining is going to get rid of it, infact it is just going to make it worce.

All cheaters want is to hear you bitch and complain about them.

Or is it just things YOU don't like about the game? Just because you think something is wrong with the game does not mean that it's broken, that's your opinion. NL made the game, it's how it's SUPPOSED to be played.

Other then the odd glitch in a few maps there are not many problems with NL's games at all. Infact they are pretty stable games, and NL does release patches untill most bugs are fixed. A bug is NOT something you think should be changed, a bug is the game not loading right with AMD cpu's etc.

You think just df is infested with cheats? Your wrong, I don't see very many at all. There are cheats in every game, big and small. All this chat about them just makes it seem like there everywhere you look.

Panther, I don't think that its an issue with the game being bad. Just being glitchy. The thing that is pissing people off is novalogics inability to fix the bugs that are in their programs.
That makes people like me mad because as most people hear "the customer is always right," well why are they not aiming to please? It makes it look like they are only out to get money. That is why people get cheesed off at NL.

Explain what is wrong then, what glitch(s)? I just don't see it. Every program has a glitch, from windows to msn.

Everyone always just sais "NL screwed me outa money" but no tells them how or why.

I have been pretty happy with NL's games, I didn't like BHD or Jops, but there was nothing wrong with them. I don't notice many bugs at all.

NL's servers go down once in awhile, every server does. They power 1,000's of hits hourly and host prolly near 100 games at any given moment, thats about the only problem I see other then the few map glitches.

The customer is not always right IMO.

Well Panther I will tell you one thing that pissed me off. I pretty much enjoyed NL's games...I have bought them since 1999. I go out and buy JO because I figured it would be alot like BlackHawk Down. I play the thing and find out how freaking laggy it is online even though I was told by someone at NL that it would have less lag than the other games. Also you can't play lan with 1 cd. If you want to play lan at home you have to go buy two versions of JO. After being disappointed I tried to take it back...and what did the store say? "You can't return computer software." So I was kinda pissed that I blew that money on such a crappy game and there is nothing I can do about it. Especially when I see that novalogic is not doing ANYTHING to improve the game.
All they are doing is popping out expansions and new games like DF-X.

Some more, the main reason I got jo was to play it on lan.

BTW - customer is not always right but they should be treated like they are...instead of being ignored.

I would say that there are plenty of patches that they could do especially for vehicles. I just think once they see the profits go down they drop support on the title

It's unfortunate too I'd love to see a BHD update with a few glitches fixed (the humvee's could use a little sprucing up)
