there are a handful of empty servers running the nso mod, i feel ive done my part to promote the mod! lol stilll hopeful people will get hip to it cause it is a great mod!

Yup, hopefully the NSO team will pull back together in a few months to address any glitches, weapons imbalance, that was overlooked.

You always think you've killed the last bug until you find a few crawling up your shorts.

Are you even seeing the NSO menu screen?

If not, then your not playing the mod.

do you have 2 new icons on your desktop?? nsomod and nsomed?

also if you use the pinger to join servers, to see the NSOmod servers you must checkmark OTHER in your filter selections.
add the nso servers to the bottom of your pinger area like normal, then close pinger and join through the NSOMod icon on your desktop.
make sure your dfbhd disc is in drive too.

It is indeed a fine Mod. I'll be uploading an SP in a couple of weeks time. Having a riot playing around with it.

I've talked with alot of people who play BHD but have never heard of the NSO MOD as yet. A suggestion that may or may not help promote it, would be to send an email to any BHD squad websites, or Admins at those sites, asking them to take a look at the MOD. Attach a copy of it, if possible, or at least a link to it. Since there aren't really an excessive amount of teams like there was say maybe 4 years ago, it might even be a project for some folks to go into teams forums and just leave messages about the MOD. I've had a ball making some maps with it. The new weapons, buildings and various piece that are new to NSO offer a tremendous opportunity for mappers to get creative. Now if I can just learn how to make wac files for vehicles, life would be good. LOL.

We do need a MOD section in the Nova games place

The problems with Mods are too numerous to mention here, the bottom line is ....is it worth it..??????? says Joe Average! cause one poor Mod makes the WHOLE future efforts of fans a complete waste of time.
Do I have to reinstall my game, to get rid of it, should I don't use/want/like it?????
very few mods come with an uninstaller, I am told.

Oh that NSO mod must be good, I saw it on that site or this site,
BUT CAN I BE BOTHERED TO LOAD UP BHD/Team Sabre Nah! fergit it >!!!!!
to many proper games around.
And thats just it, the whole gaming community is diluting itself, WITH ITSELF
and admin here wants/NEEDS to bring in yet more games, does it want too?
No it HAS too
It's a shame so much hard work from many talented people has gone into such a BIG flop, it aint the first and won't be the last, but thats what is now called progress,
Spinney ...think again

*btw can't say if they been update or not! in this area of downloads
if novalogic, inc still have stats server out don't go into them with mod active. get banned

anyways did not see nso mod there, maybe admin look into it for you all & have it for download.

thanks for joing my community group sam, we are now 6 members strong! the mod is good stuff and as shadowz said, we need all of the above. a good nso server that is running is called TMS, they are a friendly group of around 6 strong and are based out of the netherlands. I would recommend everyone visit their server its a pleasant server with some custom nso maps . i am working on my first map rotation and will be serving soon so if you see "GUILLE'S PLACE" STOP ON IN !! COMING SOON! I WANT TO HAVE ABOUT 10 OR SO MAPS TO START THE SERVER OF WITH. feel free to post some screen shots of your maps!!

Good to see some interest in the mod and to all those involved in creating content for it - I think we did a damn good job! I of all people know how NSO could be considered to be a fat waste of time but it was important to release it because so many people had spent so much time on it. It represents a great example of people with a shared interest coming together to work as a team - and no money changed hands either!

NSO is five years too late and many people along the journey told me I was wasting my time. Well for me it was a fantastic opportunity to learn some new skills and to create the type of buildings I'd always wanted see in BHD. It was also an opportunty to work with a great team of talented people and see a project through to its finish.

It was a challenge and became quite a burden - it was even shelved for 8 months - but I wasn't going to let it die or sit on my drive and never see the light of day.
I've seen NSO content in other mods already so in that sense it wasn't a waste of time and I fully expect other mod teams to use our content too.

All in all it's an accomplished mod for a dead game but if it's inspired other players to look into modding for other Nova titles then I feel we've achieved something.

Good luck and thankyou to all those who have shown an interest in the NSO mod.
