actually the tactics you speak of are game plans, im on about actual tactics, how to cross bridges in a 4 man patrol, how to set up a close reccy, stuff like that, so, im not trying to take your teams 'game plan'

I never cross a bridge but this would b my tactic.

1. Have a sniper 300m away watching other side of bridge.
2. Use bino`s to look across to spot a target.
3. throw a flashbang.
4. 2 gunners with m60`s puting their fire everywhere.
5. Every1 crosses behind them

^My way ^

.Bridges are quite narrow making them easy for your enemy to pick you off on them

.your fire team are used to being spread over a large area like this
(key x-enemy, o-operatives)

xxxxxxxxx

o o o o o o

but when on bridges it suddenly turns into

xxxxxxxxx

ooo
ooo

This makes it hard for your team to fire at the enemy and a simple task of walking across a bridge turns into a massacre, and when enemy armour is involved on bridges life can become tough, M136's take out tanks perfectly but if your on a bridge and one is coming down the other end of the bridge you cant fire for maybe 2 reasons

1. your in the back 3 and cant get a shot in
2. your in the front 3 and when you fire you run the risk of getting your own men shot by the backblast.

I found a quite simple solution to the problem of bridges, lets run a couple of scenarios-

Scenario 1- Alpha and Bravo need to cross a bridge, on the other side of the bridge there is an enemy in the toll house and there about.......10 enemy also on the other side behind trees, toll house etc,
Alpha team consists of 2 snipers and a support gunner, bravo consists of 3 rifleman, 1 sniper enters the toll house on your side and snipers the enemy in the opposite toll house, that sniper then covers the 3 rifleman jogging across bridge using the girders at the side as cover, once the 3 man team is half way across they will stop and try to pick off as many people who run across the road going up to the bridge while prone so that they dont get shot by anyone else, then the 2 snipers and the support gunner pick off the enemy soldiers that are at the side of the bridge, if this is done correctly you should suffer no wounds and/or incapacitations to your men, then you are free to carry on with the mission, easy , diagrams to come.

Scenario 2- Alpha is half way on the bridge and bravo is just about to walk across it, suddenly enemy armour comes over the hill and makes its way towards your troops on the bridge, the armour cant shoot because of the angle but it can still run you down, bravo team consists of 3 rifleman, 1 rifleman in the team carries M136'S and gets diagonal to the tank and fires, the armour blows up and your team then use the burning wreck as cover against the other enemy and bravo team uses the same rules as scenario 1, easy peesy. diagrams to come.

thats what i wrote , feel free to reply with your idea
