500 Internetal
Looking for assistance/reason for a 500 internal error despite a fresh upload and a good chmod. Please assist.

check your error logs in you website control panel (assuming you have one - I'm only familier with cpanel)

Been my experience though that it relates to the permissions - try chmod every thing to 755.
Don't forget to check the option to include sub-folders and files

TY I got it to work. Realized I had a typo in my chmod.
