Billy Conelly, Jimoen, dave letterman, paul mcdermot, peter berner al come to mind.

As for comedy shows you cant go past the britishs shows, blackbooks, yes minister/yes prime minister, fawlty towers etc etc. Great thing in Aus. we get the best of the US and the UK without nearly as much of the crap.

There are hundreds of great comic acts out there.
Jasper Carrot was genius in his day, used to make me ache listening to him.
At the moment I am loving US comedians, Chris Rock and Rodney Carrington.

Peter Kay, Chris Rock, Billy Conolly I could go on and on and I have to say the U.S. has some brilliant sitcoms where as we seem to have lost the plot over here in the U.K.

I don't know if any of you remember Dave Allen a truly witty and funny comedian from the 70's? I just had to include him because he was one of the funniest comedians I've ever seen!!!!

I remember the name from a long time ago. Seen clips throughout the years. Never seen his stand up.

Letterman or Leno?
