Is DFX Running OK on VISTA?

Just a quick question as I am thinking of buying a Laptop. Is DFX Running OK on VISTA?

I'm not sure. There might be a compatibility wizard in Vista that allows it to run DFX if it generally doesn't work on Vista.

Yes DFX will run on Vista. Only issue is with MODS. Cannot copy the DFX folder in Vista. Any help on how to make a copy of the game folder for DJ3 or BFM mods would be greatly appreciated!

According to Microsoft you can copy a folder:

Maybe the support for copying into the same directory was turned back to pre XP days? just paste it into the program files rename then move it back to the Novalogic directory. thats what i had to do with Win2k. and you should be good to go and make shortcuts and mod it.

ive got the special ops mod and works great with vista. i don't know why you wouldnt be able to copy the folder? didnt have a problem with loading up the mod on my comp.
