chars map

hi all,
recently i tried to do a slight change to my battle tag & found that my chars map wont work on special lettering.
i can get standard lettering but thats it. have tried uninstalling & reinstalling & still have the same problem. im not the smartest person when it comes to computers, so if someone can help me with this small problem it would be much appreciated. im using windows 98se.

thnx for your reply, but i'm already using this progam.the problem is that the chars map wont open for me anymore.is it possible that something is turned off in my computer?? the standard lettering im using at the moment is straight off my keyboard. sorry if i confused you.

Euhm this is a guess of me. Try to open the windows charmap copy all chars needed to clipboard and them put them in the name editor. Were you fill in your name.
start>programs>bureau-accesories>system> special characters (char map)

I might have sum names wrong but thats due to me dutch version of xp i use.
