DFBarracks Down

The popular site the DFBArracks is down due to the bandwith limit, i believe it will be back up on the first of next month. But in the mean time feel free to hang around here

I posted news to you all the site will be down 3-5 days we are moving to a new host that will not have bandwidth issues.. Due to our over welming growth this has been an issue, and we found a host where it will not be one. Thanks for your patience, and once we get the databases moved it will be back up..

I know "bandwidth" is an issue in Australia at the moment because everyone bar 56K's got capped on up and downloads. If you advertive that your with a ISP is... you don't pay for your uploads if we are with the same ISP. It might only be 5% of us on the same ISP network but it all helps the owners of the sites a few MB here and there.

I dont understand a single thing of what he is trying to point out. Maybe he should finish his sentences a little more, that could make a diffirence, i guess. Or maybe, its just me?!

It means, Most site owners in Aust "DFBarracks" have a limit on how much usage they have i.e. 3Gig/5Gig.... after that they either get "cut off" or "pay excess fees". With some companies they don't charge you (DFBarracks) anything if the users (me) are with the same ISP. So I don't get charged for my downloads and DFBarracks don't get charged for uploads. Formus, D/loads, game hosting, etc etc....

lol, Camo sold it to Hakske, who after a while sold it to Sting and Heifer.

So now im the only aussie on staff there

They have a bandwidth limit on how much stuff can get transfered from their site. Coz its soo popular, they went over the limit. Now we are upgrading to a new host with a whole ton of bandwidth.

for those don't know what we are talking about if you have a web-site (url) the people who are hosting it on thier system your web-site (url) they have rules some of them are bad like bandwith limit on how much data can be downloaded to people same you download 5mb of data and have 50-people all download thats 50mb but lets say your url go over that too much the host tell you ether you have to pay more to let people download more over the limit or the site close temp-close down some even have a limit on upload not many but some do.

even type of files too i know one spawn.com or net been some time they have a rule no hecks or patch on your site yea you put up a no-cd patch your accout remove seen it
