Ok i forgot but i need to know something about installing!

Which Installtion way would be the best?

of course i should even know this but theres one thing i have wondered all my time playing this game


Installtion Way 1
BHD
BHD/BHD:TS Update
BHD No Cd Patch
BHD:TS
BHD/BHD:TS Update
BHD:TS No Cd Patch

or even!

Installtion Way 2
BHD
BHD:TS
BHD/BHD:TS Update(Since the update will put it for both)
BHD No CD Patch
BHD:TS No CD Patch


would it effect the game in any way?

So what im basically asking is!

1.Will either way matter?
2.Which Method looks the best way to do it to you?

I think Way 2 looks easiest and best if it will work but actually confused i thought someone made the BHD/BHD:TS No CD Patch together but i would be better if someone did so like they have the update combined for both!

I have been wondering cause for some reason i think the way you install it matters i dont think i did it way 2 yet cause the updates use to be separate from BHD and TS till someone combined it into one update for both

Plus i thought there was a BHD Update by it self at one time!

Instill this way only:

1.) BHD
2.) BHD/BHD:TS (let DF:BHD-Team Sabre update off the Cd)
3.) ether through the game update or download it from here.
4.) BHD:TS No Cd Patch (rename it to use in Stats server leave the normal one as is) don't replace the normal dfbhd.exe

to play in NW Stats server DF BHD CD need to be in the tray. not DF BHD-Team Sabre it only a mod and not the game engine at all, thats in DF BHD Cd.

tips:
1.) backup the normal dfbhd.exe first zip it up.
2.) now add-in the No-Cd patch in.
3.) rename the No-Cd patch as "No_Cd_dfbhd.exe
4.) unzip the normal dfbhd.exe place it back into the game folder.

make a shortcut to the No-CD patch and have fun.

don't use No-Cd patch in NW-stats servers you be banned real fast.

only a note:
if you have the game cool, we don't support pirating software here. NO-CD is for real lovers of them game.

LMAO Chief thanx bud, ive heard you tell me that about getting banned like everytime i see u lol!

I may just install BHD right now but like i said i believed i always did it wrong and creating two different exe's for No Cd Patch is good idea! Do you think if i was to keep the editor for BHD to make my non BHD:TS Maps would it cause any trouble like create a new folder and move it to it i think i saw the BHD Editor 2.06 for download is there any effect to the game if i make maps got both games and host them on Team Sabre to test the BHD and BHD:TS Maps out? One thing that really makes my head itch about the editors is if im using one for BHD Maps and BHD:TS cause unless i do it the tough way to try to find out which items for BHD by using the list for download that tells me!

But would it hurt to have two editors runnin for BHD/BHD:TS one for BHD and one for BHD:TS?

I know NovaHQ and many other palces have some new ones like I and so on which ive used just about all of them before!

Also so this creates 3 different exe files to load or what cause i followed what you said and ive never did it this way so its difficult! Hows it going to know which of the 3 to load?

it doesnt matter how many exe's you have, just rename them accordingly so you know which each one is.

i.e.
bhd_original.exe
bhd_nocd.exe

etc

as soon as i ever install a agame, i always make a copy of the original .exe file.

this is very useful especially if a patch turns out rubbish, or something else corrupts the game .exe

it will usually save you reinstalling the whole game.

Well hows the Pinger going to detect my No CD Patch now? Wont detect it and from doing it this way Chief!
It says i hjave v. 1.4.0 something instead! Plus my No CD Patch wont work by having 3 exe files cause the pinger cant detect it when i extracted and made them into 3 it only shows one selection for the Pinger to choose when locating my game exe! I think i better stick to my way to doing it and make it all one exe if it will work! Unless you got a solution liek always Chief to this!

i can't say about DF-Pinger never like using 3rd party items online at all.

i don't mind items like a a map editor them been reworked to show all items like a unlock mep editer of a game, but something other what NL made i don't trust them sorry.

not much i can say at all about DF-pinger you get what you download if it don't workout don't use it.

i have 4 .exe in my DF: BHD/TS folder they all work find and i have 2 in DF: Xtreme and will others DF: Family, not counting JOTR i don't use it at all.

by the way you said no then about you using the "df-pinger" that a all new subject.
