Help with NILE mpa editor

Hey guys ive been wanting to make maps to play on for Deltaforce Extreme so i installed the nile map editor but when i try to select a resource folder it just pulls the window to select the folder back up again. someone please help

BTW i have windows 7 ultimate if that may have something to do with it

I've no experience with Windows 7 but are you running in administrator rights?

So to elaborate, you select the resource folder, and hit OK (or whatever the button is) and it just comes back up again?

Yes i am running as administrator And when i start it the box to select the recourse file opens i go through C drive Program files novalogic than DFX and press open but the window just reopens

And after i select the folder over and over again trying to get it to work it will just freeze and i cannot close or click anything on it

I never had much luck with the Nile editor when it came to building maps. To me, the DFXMED seemed much more user friendly (it's located in your DFX folder).
Also in your DFX folder there is a MEDMAn.PDF for a quick start guide. I printed that and used it for a guide on my first map.
