Friendly slamming against walls when follow me
When i create a map and my team follow me...their slamming against walls...there is a solucion?
Please help me!!! |

This is because AIs need .ain files to navigate maps. NL never put out a DFBHD MED that could create .ain files, and none of the coders that released revised MEDs even tried to include .ain support.
My assumption is that NL had a separate program for creating AI navigation files (.ain). I assume it required a map to be completed (all items in their final positions) so that a grid of what I'll call secondary waypoints could be laid over the map that would guide AIs around obstacles between waypoints. I also assume that it took a long time to create .ain files on the computers of the time, so they never released it publicly. Teammates in Group 1 directed to WP 126 (Go to group) will follow the player and obey the player's orders, but they follow less closely. Any organic AI directed to WP 127 (Go to player) will make a beeline for the player, and will follow you tightly. I like to have one teammate on WP 126, and redirect the other teammates to his SSN (WP 125). That makes it slightly easier to kite them all around the map, and I can leave them somewhere safe when I don't need them.

Make AIN File
We're making maps in DFBHD but when i try Teammates following me. They can not cross the walls. Pls help us. [ How can i make a .AIN file ? )
