i dont see anything wrong with that? if you want the use of their product they will charge you its basic business, you forgot to mention that most poeple are already covered if you use software from:
Microsoft (paint)
Micrografx
Macromedia
Corel (PhotoShop)
Symantec
JASC (Paintshop pro)
Adobe
Equilibrium
Learning Company
NetObjects
Visio
Eastman Software
Alchemy Mindworks
Asymetrix
Claris
Deneba Systems
Scansoft/Visioneer

Your already covered and theres no need to buy a license.

the news on the page is over 2 years old also and nothing has happened since. the fact that all Windows contains M$ Paint means that most ppl will be ok anyhow
