scroll mouse

well, the wheel on my scroll mouse seems to "click" easily, even while just scrolling down, this sends it all over the place, is there a way to disable the click option but to still use the scroll part?

What kind of mouse? Optical or good old one? Try software configuration in Control Panel?

unplug, break bottom from top, remove switch that sends signals. Put back bottom on top with superglue, plug back into computer and voila, no more skipping all over the place.

Chief, I've an optical mouse which I use with my laptop and if it's put on a reflective surface, cursor goes crazy too. I think fix could be mouse pad...
