[DFLW] All blood no death

Today I was playing DF 3 on line and spotted a guy on a roof. Every time I fired a burst I saw blood come from his head. About 80 rounds. I don't think the guy was using a trainer because he did die but it wasn't me that killer him.Another time my player was set for close order battle. I went to a game hosted by a friend whose player was also set to close order battle He was able to jump over things I couldn't no matter what I did. Does anyone know what is going on? I'm not snivelin or whinin about it just cryin and poutin.

Hey KU43,

I don't know why the guy did not die, could be many reasons. Are you aware of spawn armour? It allows you roughly 6 seconds of invincibility if you do not use any weapon after respawning.

Secondly, the only populated non COOP server in DFLW has recoil disabled, therefore you should always use CQB, unless you want to be able to med people. CQB are faster and can jump higher.

As for your hosting issue, have you described it accurately? Typically the host of a game cannot prone jump or jump/run as fast as others, if you, the non host had issues compared to the host, then you cannot have been CQB.
