Weapon Rate of Fire

I dont know why NL has made all the weapons have such a slow rate of fire on full auto but the rate of fire needs increased. The M21, M16203, CAR15, and M60 need there rate of fire increased significantly. The 1911 needs a slight increase.

Actually, after firing all of the weapons you mentioned, its pretty accurate. The recoil should be adjusted somewhat (i.e. more recoil on the 203 and 60)

Though, in reality none of these units use M60s anyhow, they would be using an M249 SAW, which has a similar ROF to the M4/Car15

The weapon rate of fire is not accurate at all. Its pretty far from accurate.

sorry the M60 in the US-Army still being use as a support weapon now days (suppot/cover fire)not as a a attack weapon as it was in the older days.

M249 is use for attacking/close combat fighting weapons.

some commander were at one time taking about replacing the M16 (stander one) with the M249 Saw
M249 reason fire power it has and soo light to carrier in to close fighting battle field.

the M16 with the M203 will still the there to use

oh by the way the M249 Saw can be mounted with a Scope also and a Nightsite scope too so bite on that one.

Might I point out that the time frame is 1993, so a m-60 is alright for them to use. And mattusmc67, it's a game if you want acurate rates of fire go to a shooting range.

To ppl in the military its absurd to play a game with such a slow rate of fire. Its a joke really.

really because i'm in the military, and I really don't care exactly if the have the fire rates exact. If it shoots and kills works for me, like I said its only a game.

I just thought I'd bring an old thread back to life, muah ha ha ha ha...IT LIVESSSSS!!!....

Well, yes, i'd have to agree with the Marine, the rates of fire are very inaccurate, but thank God that in JO the rates have improved significantly although, something I have been ranting about is the fact that when playing Multiplayer, when you hear your team mates or an Opposing team enemy fire the rates of fire are still just too too slow, its like everyone except for yourself isnt fireing at full auto, even the support weapons sound like they are fireing at semi-auto, the full effect isnt there, therefore no prior combat flashbacks. I've tried to look at the bin files and see if there's a way to adjust this but I still can't find where the code is., When will Novaworld fix this?

NovaLogic will NEVER fix that problem! They make a game, make an update for it, dump it, and create a new game... they never listen to us consumers!

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo there's a 100% chance out of 100% they won't do that.

But see, thats where I get stumped, I'm trying to find the file that has the code to change the rate of fire of both player and other players so u can actually hear the other players blazing guns at you and not some "pow---ppow---pow---pow----pow----pow", I want to hear a "bbrrrrraaaaKK!!" when I'm getting owned. Its to get that more real atmoshpere, u know what I'm saying?
