New vid card
Thinking about getting an Nvidia GTX460, anyone have it?
I had a GTX480 but I sold it because I wanted to get a camera for when my son is born

Well that's going backwards
GTX460 is still a good card, whoops everything except the 580, 570, and 480. You can expect to max Crysis out at 1920x1200 and get 25-30 fps, over 60 in all unreal engine and source engine based games, and Metro 2033 at high but not maxed, at 30-40 fps. |

Problem is I am still stuck with a Core2Duo @ 2.8Ghz so it would be pointless to get anything better than the Gtx 460. I just don't have the cash to upgrade my whole system right now.

Whats the point in people saying it can run crysis at 10,000x20,000 1 million fps.. who actually plays Crysis? xD
But yeah, a mag I read reviewed a bunch of the 460's and they said it had great potential for the price. |

You know what, you're right. Metro 2033 is the next biggest resource hungry game, DX11 tessellation and all.

Looks like I am going with the EVGA GTX460 1 Gig.
My 9800 is blowing caps and probably won't last long.
