G5 Fail..

My G5 has begun playing up lately. Depending on the position im using it in (I haven't figured out the pattern yet!) it cuts out, and then if i move in a random way, it sometimes comes back on.

I looked into it and I've seen a few people complaining that its to do with the design of the wire inside the mouse. As soon as the cable enters the mouse, it bends at a right angle, which they say is a very bad design flaw, but i'm not sure why it has decided to die on me now..

So for my next mouse, wireless ftw I think.

you have seen a few ppl complain about it, but how many hundres thousand maice have they sold with no probs? i get your point tho, and nothing lasts forever., how long have you had it?

you have nothing to lose by taking it apart tbh, see if any wires are loose and put them back in place.

for the record i hate all wireless equipment, the tech just does not work as good at manufacturers want you to think. too much relience on batteries and airspace that is being used by every other piece of wireless equipment with the exact same frequency.

Yeah i know what you mean, im not completely slating it, after all it is a great mouse. Um not sure how long i've had it but i did take it apart and everything seems okey to me, nothing loose.

And i kinda agree about wireless tech, thats why ive left it until now before considering it properly. I had one of the logitech wireless mx mice before this one, and other than the fact my mother broke the receiver, it worked perfectly, never had any problems, so i may invest in one again.

But its just convenient having wireless so I don't have trails of wires across my room.
