I'm trying to come up with a way to get a three camera security system going for as cheap as possible.

by cheap i mean i'm getting a pc with a 200 gig hd and not much more for 20 bucks

but i don't know what to do about the cameras and the software. the pc will probably only have linux on it lol .. but if i have to i can install XP

wireless would be cool, but i was thinking maybe using phone wire or something of the sort to hook it all up

any input or advise would be awsome
