i used the VON patch from here but cant join
like scott helped someone from the landwarrior forum page, i tried that for TFD. I run the patch and select TFD and press start game, it starts fine but when it says joining session the game freezes.

From my experience patching for VON for any nova game has never worked. I wouldn't count on nova being able to setup a patch to get their VON system working anytime soon either, cause since they released DF2 they had VON enabled on the game, but it never worked. I seriously doubt they're gonna do anything about it now.

My suggestion would be to either remove the patch or reinstall fresh.

its a fresh install

i havent patched it our added anything to it but the VON patch

Yeah I have no clue then. To tell you the truth, I haven't touched a DF game in a few years. Not really worth the time and/or effort to get everything installed and working to play a game that's underpopulated and not fun to play anymore.

You try the novaworld forums?
