2 Annoying Problems
Hey guys!
I started making maps 2 years ago. With the new version of Delta Force Black Hawk down, 1. Mission editor will not attach the playing with the nearest humvee. Did anyone know why? 2. Did anyone know how they make the maps for the game? They are well-designed. Did anyone know if there are any other editors except the mission editor? How did they make the maps for the game? Any answers will be appriciated. |

If you want to check out the stock maps inside the .pff files just use the .pff extractor (you can find a .pff extractor in the utilities section here on good ol' Novahq).
I would assume that the stock maps in DFBHD were made using the Mission Editor since the NILE editor wasn't released until the 1st DFX (after BHD). Nile is ok, but much more complicated than the MED and NILE relies soley on the .wac for events. Try using the redirect 125 action instead of the nearest AI action. That should force the AI to the vehicle (check out the thumbnail below).

i think you can use the map editor to highlite two item a hummer and starting point (blue team or red team) for respawn together
use the wireframe open adjust the player to spawn above the seats they drop down into the seat of if the hummer has left the area they spawn onto the ground standing there waiting for it to come back the hummer, then save option afterward not 100% but give it a try been super long i use BHD mapping. its the best guess i can give

I have found that in BHD the bots will attach, all you do is place them right on top of the vehicle and they will automatically attach and as Dave61 suggests
