eek PHP question

Howdy all,

I am a total n00b when it comes to web design, and I can't seem to figure out those PHP scripts that are on so many site for download . My question; is it possible to connect a PHP download counter to a ordinary HTML page ? Check my site to see what I mean. In the " Old DF:LW " section I got some old DFLW maps for testing, all these maps I got on seperate HTML files, so it is possible to connect a PHP to these files for a download counter ?

Thx ,

Kip™

<!--#include virtual="/path-to/script.php" -->
Is how you would add it to a flat html page.
