T an R in left corner

i have sbc dsl. my old modem wasntworking to good soi bought a new 1. it works great it even uped my speed. its 2.5.
but now when i play joint ops i get the T an R in the upper left corner on an the R is flashing red. it dont hurt my play.im was just wandering if that is normal?
plus with my new moden my game play is a lot better.

The T and R is Transmit and Recieve , if your having connection errors or slowdowns with that server it will show up RED , just look at the kill list and watch your pings , to see if they are going abnomally high , there might be a connection issue , also when your going to join a server watch the list to see what you ping that server at, , it should be below 100 to not have problems , i usually average in the 50's unless they are East Coats servers , also hit the "~" key and type "fps" to see what your Frames Per Second are , they shouldnt go below 20 at the lowest, i average between 35-50 on a crappy server and 60-120 on a good server

i did that ~fps an it says my ping is below 20
some times it goes higher but not much. this is funny because this just started when i got a faster dsl connection
what happen was i had a old sbc dsl modem an it stopped working, so i bought a new one plus faster speed. it works great plus i got faster speed. i had like 1.5 to 2.0. now its 2.5 an higher. but now i get then t & r . its weird

some times the data will get lost and ping may go up higher most part this is really low to happen. Novalogic & novaworld.com use a anti-lag if the data get lost you be reseted back to were their server know you was at.

Dailup it can get really bad.
ADSL it not to bad with lag.

in some way you have to think the other party their speed of their connection speed is if it low you download slower.

Ps if you have windows update enable there was a new update release Tue-day, time of your game play it may have download the new update try later on see if it happen again.

The "Euro" servers are crap.

I live in the uk and when I join a euro server T&R lights are usually flashing most of the time, even though the server ping was indicating around 20.

If I join one of the american servers showing a ping of 175, the T&R lights only appear occasionally.

Try joining a server in another area.

Hm, what servers are you referring too? Sounds like you're on the "wrong" european servers.
