Hi there, you can select all the AI's you want to adjust, then right click and select Edit Attributes.

At bottom centre there will probably be the following settings:

Max Attack distance 16
Max Engagement Distance 320
Min Engagement Distance 16

These are the defaults and are set when you place an AI. So you almost always need to adjust them.

To get the AI to stay put set the following ranges:

Max Attack distance 320
Max Engagement Distance 320
Min Engagement Distance 320

Attack Distance is the distance they start shooting (detection range)

Engagement Ranges are when they start running in (Max) and how far they stop from the player (Min)

It will pay you to take some time out to understand how they work with some experimental maps.

Once you do you will see that you can get a lot of variation in behaviour and situation control over the AI using these settings.

Have a nice day
