think i found the autopunt

i was looking for it long time the autopunt on maximum ping.
so your servcer dont crash on 1%of its capabilities cuz sum lagger eats all the bandwith.

since i turned this on i see ppl joining and leaving as soon as they hit the player list.so guess that should be it.


maximum ping will be on 1500 set it to anything in the game.cfg file(set it apropiately).then goto "domaxpingcheck".it will be default on 1 or 0 wich is off(or on cant remember lol)at the moment you change that parameter autopunt will work.(or it was a dream hehe) server hosts give it a try so u can actually play instead of punting ppl all the time

you've not really done your research mate....

you'll find the most lag comes from when ppl join the server thats why loading times are so long because it uploads your whole game , thats also the reason you get screen lag when you 1st join a server the game is designed to get rid of the lag at the beggining of the game thus creating a higher ping at the beggining, so back to the drawing board for you i guess...

btw ive being getting kicked repeatedly from your server and its we'll annouying seeing ia play there alot, i love ISK dont keep punting me im on 512k not asif im a 56ker

yer getting kicked then repeatedly cuz the autpoping works wich means i did do my homework lol.but anyway this morning my power suplly blew up so i have to fix that first.anyway i never punted u on purpose and shall look into it.but i also get lag when i join first second cuz my second conex wich i use is crap.(chello entry lmao)maybe your vidcard or ram.? my server is fine 1533 mhz 512 mb mmx 333 and i have 8192/1024 adsl on server so......anyway gotta repair my power supply.hope it goes better in the future greetz

lol i was so happy that i ghot the autopunt working i was really like shouting and cheering everytime sum1 got punted and i could just play in peace for hours without even looking at my server.but i overdone it a bit ahemmmmm

sorry bout that i snapped out of it hehe .

the maximum ping is now 1000 so if yer still over that dont bother but this should be fine for all broadband and adsl users maybe even the odd dial up here and there.

but dont forget if u have a crap pc it will also result in high ping times cuz the ping has to be reflected by the users before it can be calculated.

Auto punt and level is cool to use ,to get into a server and play.

yup very happy i found it.spent lots of money running good server so its such a shame if ur high end connection chokes cuz somebody is dialling in from the kongo

if u go to the game cfg u find maxping wich is on 1500 but it aint active.put domaxpingcheck on 1 does the trick.

ye i see u peeps alot over there and i must say im pleasantly surprised with the large group of regulars on server all nice people.i enjoy hosting 4 u all.somebody is on his way with my power supply as we speak.if this is only problem im back in the air tomorro and i will balance the autopunt better 2 aiiiit?
